Bidii Technical College

Commissioned as part of a private entity’s Social Development Programme, the project involved the design of a new technical school in Kakanda, DRC, focused on practical, skills-based education in agriculture, mechanics, and construction.

The site — an existing laterite quarry — presented both opportunity and constraint. A challenging 12-metre change in level required a carefully considered response to circulation, accessibility, and long-term expansion, while ensuring the campus could adapt to future growth.
