BRISTOL UK

  • Candidates should have the following:

    • a minimum of 3+ years Revit experience is essential (minimum BIM level 2 or above)

    • a minimum of 3+ years experience producing UK planning applications

    • a minimum of 3+ years experience producing construction packages with a demonstrated knowledge of UK building regulations

    • experience in managing assistants (ideal)

    The offer particulars include:

    • Start date - TBC

    • Job description/role - Project Architect to manage and deliver projects. Role to include preparing drawing packages, planning negotiation, managing assistants and administration support

    • Contract type - Hourly rate OR fixed, PAYE, paid monthly, and to be negotiated post probation

    • Employment offer includes - Use of the team and infrastructure. i.e. desk, hardware, software, intellectual property/marketing catalogue, office, PI insurance, resources, templates, subscriptions, REVIT training etc

    • Probation period - 3 months, intended for both parties

    • Notice Period - 1 week during the probation period, 4 working weeks thereafter

    • Working hours -

      • From Office - Flexible but typically Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

        • From home - Available/TBC and negotiable post probation

    • Pay -

      • Salary - Aligned with RIBA reported figures to be reviewed post probation to match ability and responsibilities

      • Holidays/Sick - A total of 6-weeks including bank holidays. Under a fixed salary sick pay is as per the statutory obligations.

      • Pensions - In line with our statutory requirements, you can choose to opt out.

      • Professional subscriptions - TBC/negotiable post probation

      • Discretionary bonus scheme - In connection with your project profits, conditions to be confirmed on offer acceptance (not part of salary structure) but likely to include performance rewards for meeting time budgets and sourcing new projects/clients

      • Salary sacrifice scheme - TBC/negotiable post probation

    • Current Workload - Should you join our team, your involvement is likely to be with the following project types/stages:

      • Commercial renovations - RIBA Stage 1 to 6

      • Domestic extensions - RIBA Stage 1 to 6

      • New build speculative apartments - RIBA Stage 1 to 6

      • New build speculative houses - RIBA Stage 1 to 6

  • Candidates should have the following:

    • a minimum of 5+ years experience producing UK planning applications

    • a minimum of 5+ years experience producing construction packages with a demonstrated knowledge of UK building regulations

    • assisting/developing BIM workflows and BIM implementation on small to large scale residential and commercial projects

    • provide leadership and direction for BIM specific technologies

    • create, maintain and develop training materials including new employee REVIT on-boarding. Over the shoulder and one-to-one training, development and shadowing of staff

    • responsible for managing internal BIM libraries, families and policies. Build and collect families as per staff request. Identify and vet content. Provide input on how models is split up. Shell, core, interiors, site etc
